One of the biggest guilty pleasures on my ipod is the Bugsy Malone soundtrack and I guess I’m not ashamed to admit it.
I remember being in total awe of the film when it first came out in the mid 70s. I was only a child then but I still remember how much I wanted to be Tallulah. I wanted those costumes, that hair and to be up on stage singing in front of a crowded Fat Sam’s. I still do!
Rather sadly I probably know the words to all of the songs & regularly sing them loudly and badly whilst driving.
My favourites have to be Tomorrow and My Name Is Tallulah (obviously) but, when I die, You Give A Little Love just has to be played at my funeral………….or I’m returning as a disgruntled ghost!
